In the early 80’s, Ted Hodges decided to forego the MLB draft and join a company in the material handling equipment industry in the Pacific Northwest. It didnt take long for him to notice that used pallet racking was not only a labor expense to his customers, but it was also being thrown away. Recognizing the opportunity and need to recycle and repurpose pallet racking, Ted started offering these used materials to his customers at substantial discounts versus the price of new. Not only was he providing a value to his selling customer, he was also offer cost-savings to his buying customer!
In 1986, Ted moved to Denver, CO where he started Conesco to fully offer his customers turnkey warehousing products and services including the repurposing of quality, used material handling equipment. Today, Ted manages Conesco Storage Systems and is proud to employ over 40 people across the country who all contribute to serving customers of all sizes across the different stages of the warehousing lifecycle.
